Supreme Court Gives Democracy the Death Penalty. (continued)

The Supreme Courts intervention on behalf of George W. Bush is not the first time Republicans have altered the outcome of an election. When John Kennedy defeated Richard Nixon in 1960, the republicans were looking at a Kennedy dynasty. JFK from 1960 to '68, RFK from '68 to '76, and Edward Kennedy from '76 to '84. In '62 Nixon lost to Pat Brown for Governor of California. Nixon told reporters and the nation, "you won't have Dick Nixon to kick around anymore." A year later, on November 22, 1963, Nixon was in Dallas, Texas when JFK was shot. Instead of John Kennedy, we suddenly had Texan Lyndon Johnson as President. Johnson lost popularity prosecuting the Vietnam war Kennedy promised to end, and chose not to run for re-election in 1968. Robert F. Kennedy fought head to head with Eugene McCarthy for the Democratic nomination. Robert Kennedy personally traveled to Memphis to comfort and calm those devastated by the assassination of Martin Luther King. Kennedy captured the nomination by winning the California primary. After his victory speech, Kennedy began moving through the crowd, heading out of the ballroom. Secret service agents protecting Kennedy changed his course, saying, "This way Mr. Kennedy". Kennedy was led from the ballroom into the Ambassordor Hotel kitchen where he was assassinated. Instead of giving the nomination to a deserving Eugene McCarthy, the Democrats gave the nomination to a man who had not run in the primaries, Hubert Humphrey. Humphrey lost to Nixon. In a scant 8 years from the time he declared "you won't have Nixon to kick around anymore", Richard Nixon, Like Shakespeare's Richard the Third before him, rose to power over a sea of dead bodies. Every political opponent of Nixon, even the head of the American Nazi Party, George Lincoln Rockwell,

had been shot. Nixon feared he could not win re-election against democrats Edmund Muskie or George Mcgovern. Muskie was the early leader for the '72 democratic nomination but dropped out when the conservative Manchester Union Leader newspaper published an article critical of Muskies wife. The article brought Muskie to tears before TV cameras.

Republicans then portrayed Muskie as "weak". Nixon continued tampering with the election by hiring Donald Segretti and the "Dirty Tricksters" to destabilize the McGovern campaign. Nixon, through his campaign committee CREEP (Committee to RE-Elect the President), hired former CIA agents G. Gordon Liddy, Frank Sturgis and E. Howard Hunt to break into the Democratic Headquarters to steal campaign strategy, contributor lists and schedules. Nixons worst re-election problem was white
supremacist and segregationist George Wallace.

Wallace, running as an independent, was taking 12% of Nixons vote, making it impossible for Nixon to win in a three way race. In May of '72, five months before the General Election, Wallace, who won every county in the Florida Primary, was shot 5 times while making his way through a crowd of supporters after speaking at a campaign rally in Maryland. With Wallace out of the race and the "dirty tricksters" and the Watergate Burglars tampering with the election, Nixon won. The question is, Did Americans really vote for Richard
Nixon for a second term when everyone in the country knew he was a crook? The Re-election of Nixon may have been the first use of computer programming to alter the results of an election. It is worth investigating. After Nixon took office for his second term, his Vice President, Spiro T. Agnew, was forced to resign for taking bribes while he was Governor of Maryland. When Nixon was forced to resign after his Watergate related campaign crimes were made public, there was no VP to assume the Presidency. The Constitution requires the Speaker of the house to become President. Curiously, Nixon was allowed to appoint his replacement, Gerald Ford. Ford, the only appointed President in history, subsequently pardoned Nixon. Following the Watergate scandal, Ford was defeated by Jimmy Carter.

Carter was defeated by Ronald Reagan. Reagan and his Vice President, George Bush, altered the result of the 1980 election by illegally negotiating privately with Iran to hold off releasing the hostages until after the election. Bush was defeated in the election of '92 after the "Iran Scam" scandal in which Reagan and Bush conspired with Albert Hakim, Garbonifar, Noriega and Oliver North, to steal loaded Tow Missiles from the US Arsenal and sell them to a sworn enemy of the United States, Iran. For a year and a half, Democratic President Bill Clinton, following the JFK model, gave a clinic on how to be a President. Then, on July 20, 1993,the body of his his close friend and personal attorney, Vince Foster, was found leaning up against a statue in a Washington DC park with a bullet in his head. After Fosters "horse in the bed" style death, Clinton reached across the aisle to accommodate Newt Gingrich, Trent Lott, Orrin Hatch, Jesse Helms and Strom Thurmond. Throughout his administration Clinton was dogged by George Bush and Tom Delay working behind the scenes to keep the "Whitewater" story alive.

Bush and Texas representative TomDelay suceeded in getting the republican majority in Congress to authorize spending 12 Million tax dollars investigating a land deal in which the Clintons lost $65,000 during the Savings & Loan scandal. Bush had no interest whatsoever in prosecuting his sons for their S&L crimes. Neil Bush should have been arrested, tried and convicted for his role in the theft of $160 Million Dollars from Silverado S & L. in Denver. Jeb Bush should have been tried, arrested and convicted for his role in the theft 8 million dollars from a Florida S & L. Bush was aware of the charges against his sons. No investigation occurred and no arrests were made. American taxpayers reimbursed the defrauded depositors the $168 Million dollars taken by the Bush Brothers. Ken Starr, Bush's solicitor General during his presidency, kept pursuing

President Clinton. Unable to find any evidence of wrongdoing, Starr quit to become a college professor. Republican contributors encouraged Starr to continue. Finally, at the height of America's economic expansion and Clintons popularity, the Republican Congress shut down the government, refusing to pass a budget. Two weeks into the shutdown, Monica Lewinsky appeared in the Presidents office in the White House. Linda Tripp, Bush's secretary when he was President, illegally recorded phone conversations with her "friend" which she then took to Starr. Instead of refusing the illegal evidence, Starr accepted it and traveled to Arkansas where he turned it over to republican lawyers trying to keep the Paula Jones suit alive.

The Republican character assassination of President Clinton continues through the partisan impeachment to this day. Without this scandal, no republican stood a chance against Gore in 2000, Gore still won, in a three way race. Five Republican members of the Supreme Court intervened and reversed the decision of the people, making the absurd claim manual counting of the ballots is unconstitutional. They should resign or be removed from office.

Note: Had the democrats committed the
acts described herein against Republicans and America, this article would have criticized them with equal vigor and asked for the same remedies.
